Last post was pretty wordy so this one will definitely be more visually stimulating :).
After breakfast we headed to Peet's Coffee before heading to the gigantic marathon expo. It was absolutely delicious! Such a good pumpkin spice latte.
Obviously we had to take a stroll through Grant Park down to the Lake Front. So pretty! The water was incredibly blue.
After Jason and I parted ways before the race, I hiked a mile and a half to Trump Tower to catch the runners before they took off through the city, I passed The Bean in Millennium Park and a few other monuments/sculptures, but it was really cool seeing it as the sun was coming up!
We stayed at the Hilton on Michigan Ave (and yes, we explored the Magnificent Mile after my haircut, so. many. beautiful. clothes.) and it's a beautiful old hotel! So much history (that you can learn about as you ride the elevators)!
Have y'all been to Chicago? What was your favorite part?
